Important: HVID confirms identity linkage signals. It does not evaluate behavior, intent, or trustworthiness. All signals are informational only and do not constitute a guarantee of any kind.

1. What HVID Is

HVID (Human Verification Identity) is an identity confirmation infrastructure. HVID allows individuals and organisations to confirm that a digital account or identifier is linked to a registered, persistent human identity.

HVID is not a safety rating system, scam detection platform, or behavioural review service. HVID does not evaluate the honesty, intentions, or past behaviour of any person.

2. What HVID Provides

HVID provides the following informational signals only:

Confirmation that an account is linked to a registered human identity
Confirmation of identity verification level (Unverified, Basic, Strong, High Assurance)
Confirmation of identity continuity and ownership consistency
System-level enforcement status (Stable, Review, Revalidation, Limited, Suspended)

These signals are informational. They do not constitute a recommendation to engage with, transact with, or trust any person.

3. What HVID Does Not Guarantee

HVID makes no guarantee of:

The honesty, safety, or intentions of any verified identity
The outcome of any transaction, interaction, or relationship with a verified identity
The completeness or accuracy of any linked account information
Protection from financial loss, fraud, or harm arising from interactions with verified or unverified identities

Users must perform their own due diligence and exercise independent judgment in all interactions. HVID is one informational signal. It is not a substitute for personal judgment.

4. User Responsibilities

By using HVID, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating or verifying your identity
Not submit false, fabricated, or misleading reports or evidence
Not use HVID signals to harass, defame, or accuse any individual publicly
Not attempt to de-anonymize, reverse-engineer, or expose private identity data
Accept that HVID signals are informational and not legally binding determinations

5. Platform Liability

HVID and its operators are not liable for:

Losses or damages resulting from interactions with any person, verified or not
Incorrect identity signals arising from incomplete or fraudulent data submitted by users
Third-party use or misuse of HVID signal data
Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the HVID service

6. Account Restriction and Suspension

HVID reserves the right to restrict, limit, or suspend any identity record in response to:

Verified reports of misuse or ownership conflict
Suspicious activity detected by the system
Failure to complete required re-verification
Violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy

Enforcement actions are carried out internally and reflected as system-level signals only. No public accusations are made.

7. Governing Terms

These Terms are governed by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. HVID may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
